Five new firefighter/paramedics to join Perrysburg Fire Division

PERRYSBURG — The City of Perrysburg has welcomed five new full-time firefighter/paramedics. They were sworn in Monday in Perrysburg City Council chambers.

The northbound lane of Manville Avenue, between East Clough Street and East Wooster Street, will be closed on Friday between 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a sewer repair. Dates of this closure are subject to change and are dependent on weather and the progress of work.

Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) has announced more than $2.9 million has been awarded to projects in Wood County, including renovations to the Owens State Community College Perrysburg campus and road construction on Ohio 281. The State Controlling Board approved the measure during Monday’s meeting.
