Perrysburg celebrates 40th year as a Tree City USA
PERRYSBURG — The City of Perrysburg is celebrating the 40th year of being named a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management. The City also received a Tree City USA Growth Award for the 26th year for demonstrating environmental improvement and an outstanding level of tree care.

Last fall the wife was fairly seriously injured by a hydrandea macrophalla. While trying to remove the reluctant pom-pom producing plant from its prominent spot in the front yard to a lesser noticeable spot in the backyard, the hydrangea fought back by not releasing its grip on Mother Earth.
