SANDUSKY — At the Division II sectional wrestling tournament Saturday, Rossford scored 78 points to finish eighth.
Rossford junior Ayden Wilson (31-6) won a 157-pound championship with a 5-3 overtime decision against Vermilion senior Owen Kyser (29-12).
Rossford senior Logan Bieganowski (14-11) placed third at 215 pounds and Rossford freshman Ronnie Hawkins (14-19) placed fifth at 132 pounds,
Placing sixth for Rossford were freshman Aidan Ferrell (10-18) at 120 pounds, Rossford freshman Joe Foels (15-20) at 138. Rossford senior Justin Hire (18-11) at 165, and Rossford junior Ty Klocko (9-12) at 190.
Sandusky Perkins won the title with 280 points, followed by Norwalk (163), Vermilion (150), Sandusky (145½), Mansfield Madison (130½), Shelby (106), Maumee (105), Rossford, Toledo Central Catholic (73), Willard (63), Toledo Scott (13), and Toledo Woodward (7).
