DEFIANCE—At the Division II sectional wrestling tournament Saturday, Bowling Green scored 136 points to finish sixth.
BG senior Dominick Burch (40-4) won a 285-pound championship by pinning St. Marys senior Braden Saeler (26-6) in 1:35.
BG freshman Cohen Lewis (26-11) was runner-up at 106 pounds, senior Daniel Fields (38-9) was second at 144,
BG junior Paul Archer (24-16) placed fourth at 150 and senior Colton Keefe (27-23) was fourth at 157
BG had four wrestlers finish sixth — junior Xavier Scott (24-20) at 132 pounds, senior Andrew White (29-23) at 165, sophomore Jackson Shafer (20-16) at 190, and senior Jacob Baumgartner (26-18) at 215.
Wauseon won the team title with 288½ points, followed by Napoleon (206½), Wapakoneta (178½), Celina (139), St. Marys (138), BG, Bryan (81), Defiance (65½), Van Wert (62½), Elida (57½), Lima Bath (46) and Lima Shawnee (42).
