Participate in panelist discussion about early literacy

0

Join the Wood County District Public Library for a short theatre performance and panel to discuss efforts to improve literacy on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Meeting Room A&B at the bowling green library.

This is a discussion in both Burkina Faso, West Africa, and Bowling Green, based on how WCDPL continues local early literacy efforts with community partners. This presentation centers around Dolly Parton’s children’s book, Coat of Many Colors, and her Imagination Library foundation. Panelists include Dhia Sanogo, English teacher in Burkina Faso, JoBeth Gonzalez and her high school drama students.

This program is presented in partnership with WCDPL, the Bowling Green High School, and Bowling Green State University.

Refreshments will be served. All ages are welcome to participate. No registration is required.
