Rockets shut out Bulldogs, 48-0, to stay unbeaten

ROSSFORD — Oak Harbor rolled up 423 total yards and held Rossford to 81 in rolling to a 48-0 Northern Buckeye Conference victory over the Bulldogs at Jackson Ferguson Stadium Friday.

Oak Harbor stays unbeaten at 5-0 and 2-0 in the NBC while the Bulldogs fall to 1-4 and 0-2.

Oak Harbor got on the board on a 32-yard run by Dalton Witter followed by a four-yard run by Jaqui Hayward, eventually taking a 41-0 halftime lead.

The Rockets had 292 rushing yards and 132 passing yards, while Rossford had 35 passing yards and 46 rushing yards.

Rossford quarterback Jackson Schultz completed 8-of-20 passes for 34 yards.
