Charges for assault have been filed against a Toledo man after he allegedly punched a co-worker.

Bowling Green police were called to a construction site in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue at 7:18 a.m. Tuesday.

The alleged victim, a 52-year-old man from Wauseon, had blood on the front of his coat and mouth when police arrived.

He said Jason Arnold, 33, got in his face as the two men argued about who did a construction job better. The alleged victim said Arnold headbutted him with his hard hat on and then punched him once in the face, knocking his front tooth out, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

An attempt to find witnesses to the event was futile, according to the report.

An officer called Arnold, who admitted to arguing with the other man. He wouldn’t say he punched the man, only that he put his arm out and “grazed” him.

Arnold was cited for assault.
