BG POLICE
Citations Jan. 9:
BG civil enforcement received a complaint of open trash bags in the 200 block of South College Drive.
Police took a report of a stolen vehicle from Hertz on South Main Street.

Citations Jan. 10:
Prohibited acts (altered ID): Patrick Williams, 18
Police responded to the 200 block of Campbell Hill Road for a possible sexual assault.
A juvenile male was arrested for domestic violence in the 400 block of Napoleon Road and was taken to the
juvenile detention center.
Chelsea Washington-Sain, 28, Perrysburg, was cited for two counts of disorderly conduct with persistence
and was arrested for two counts of assault. She was taken to jail.
Police responded to a possible burglary in the 1700 block of Burrwood Drive.
Accidents occurred Jan. 10:
Mark Grier, BG, was westbound on Clearwater Circle, waiting to turn left onto North Dunbridge Road.
Traffic on northbound Dunbridge was backed up for the four-way stop at Poe. A northbound vehicle waived
Grier through, but upon entering traffic, he was struck by a southbound vehicle operated by Frank
Karamol, BG. Both vehicles when off the road before coming to a stop. Grier was cited for failure to
yield.
Accidents occurred Jan. 11:
Josiah Borland, BG, was southbound on Campbell Hill Road, approaching the curve near Carter Park. He went
off the left side of the road and struck a streetlight. He was cited for reasonable control and
disregard for safety on a public highway. He was taken by BG EMS to the hospital with possible injuries.

Citations Jan. 12:
Theft/shoplifting: Derek Combs, 20
Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia: Janaya Morant, 19
Cameron Singleton, 23, Perrysburg, was arrested for criminal trespass and resisting arrest after he
refused to leave a downtown bar. He was taken to jail.
Headlights required at night, OVI/refusal, failure to reinstate driver’s license, open container, failure
to comply with an order of a police officer: Dakota Wcislak, 21
Citations Jan. 13:
Police were called to the juvenile detention center for a juvenile who brought drugs into the center. He
was charged with illegal conveyance of drugs and was already in custody after being arrested Jan. 10 in
the 700 block of West Newton Road for possession of a controlled substance/Schedule I or II.
BG civil enforcement took a report of trash in a yard in the 1000 block of Sparrow Lane.
Accidents occurred Jan. 13:
Jacqueline Nathan, BG, was turning left onto southbound South Church and struck Bobbi Henry, Pemberville,
who was southbound on South Church. Nathan was cited for failure to yield right of way.
Sierra Hill, Rudolph, attempted to exit a driveway in the 500 block of West Poe Road. Marlene Bernardo,
BG, was westbound on West Poe. Hill struck Bernardo and was cited for failure to stop after an accident.

James Cotterman, BG, was northbound on South Main Street, attempting to turn left onto Napoleon Road.
Bogdana Fogarty, Findlay, was southbound on South Main entering that intersection. Cotterman was cited
for failure to yield right of way after turning in front on Fogerty and causing a crash.
Citations Jan. 14:
BG civil enforcement took a report of litter in a yard in the 100 block of South Summit Street and trash
bags next to a house in the 200 block of South Prospect Street.
Joshua A. Johnson, 32, was cited for criminal trespass and menacing by stalking. A bench warrant was
later issued when he failed to appear in court.
Accident reports Jan. 14:
Pamela Lynn, BG, and Elsa Redman, BG, were both westbound on East Poe, at a red light at Ohio 25. Lynn
began to move forward then stopped. Redman was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance
ahead after she drove forward and struck Lynn.
Citations Jan. 15:
Shania Williams, 22, BG, was arrested for domestic violence in the 500 block of East Merry and was taken
to jail.
Dominic Gimenez, 18, BG, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol and was cited for possession of
marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to jail.
Soliciting without a permit: Gary Hamilton Jr., 35
William Slover, 25, BG, was arrested on three warrants as well as receiving stolen property and misuse of
credit cards. He was taken to jail.
Police to a report of breaking and entering in the 200 block of East Napoleon Road.
Accidents occurred Jan. 15:
Scott Coon, BG, was northbound in the 1000 block of North Main Street, slowing down to make a turn.
Christopher Marshall Jr., BG was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead after he
struck the rear of Coon’s vehicle.
Accidents occurred Jan. 16:
Brandon Tucker, BG, was westbound in West Poe Road, stopped for traffic near Ohio 64, when he was struck
from behind by Kimberly Minard, BG, who was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Kelland Wright, Toledo, went off the road at the intersection of Pearl Street and Buttonwood Avenue. He
struck an electric pole then fled the scene. He was later cited for failure to maintain reasonable
control, expired license and fleeing the scene of an accident.
Citations Jan. 17:
Police took a report at the middle school of a student threatening another student.
Two customers left without paying their food bill in the 900 block of South Main Street. When contacted,
they returned and paid and received a criminal warning for theft.
Exhaust, driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia: Daniel Cook, 21
Accidents occurred Jan. 17:
Linda Weatherbee, Weston, was southbound in the 900 block of South Main Street when she merged into the
lane occupied by Nicole Sundermeier, Perrysburg. No citations were issued.
Tracy Hammond, Cygnet, was traveling southbound in the left lane of South Main Street near Napoleon Road
while Lacey Reichenbaugh, BG, was in the right lane. Hammond merged into the right lane, struck
Reichenbaugh, and was cited for marked lanes.
Citations Jan. 18:
Police observed Michael Malewitz, 20, run though a backyard in the 100 block of Troup Avenue and caught
up with him in the 700 block of Clough Street. He was cited for criminal trespass, underage/under the
influence and prohibited acts.
Accidents occurred Jan. 18:
Love Ezell, Weston, was eastbound in the 15000 block of Bowling Green Road West and slid off the right
side of the road. She struck a utility pole.
Accidents occurred Jan. 19:
Tammy Mathias, Cygnet, ran into a concrete post in a parking lot in the 100 block of West Gypsy Lane
Road.
Breanna Graham, BG, was southbound in the 1000 block of South Main Street while Amanda Mantel, Portage,
was turning left from a driveway. Mantel was cited for failure to yield the right of way after striking
Graham.
Citations Jan. 20:
Seth E. Thomas, BG, was arrested in the 700 block of South Summit for domestic violence and was taken to
jail.
Unauthorized plates: Xavier Overton, 26
Items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Fourth Street.
Jacob Timerding, 28, Toledo, was arrested for disorderly conduct and falsification and was taken to jail.

Citations Jan. 21:
Police responded to the high school, the middle school and the PATHE Center for unruly juveniles; and to
Home Depot for a possible theft.
Eduardo Jordan, 51, BG, was arrested for theft and was taken to jail.
Accidents occurred Jan. 21:
Javier Garza-Torres, Newburg, Missouri, was attempting to make a left turn from East Wooster Street onto
North Dunbridge Road but turned too sharp and his trailer struck the vehicle owned by Nicholas Buchanan,
Fostoria, who was in the left turn lane on Dunbridge.
Thomas Moore Jr., Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was walking northbound in the right lane of South Main
Street when he was struck by Michaela Garza, Maumee. Moore was cited for pedestrian walking along a
highway.
