Vern and Becky (March) Hansen, Bowling Green, will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary on Saturday.They were married July 27, 1963.Vern is a retired Air Force colonel who
subsequently was a 727 captain for ATA Airlines. Becky Hansen served on Bowling Green City Council for
two terms after they returned to their hometown. Both are graduates of Bowling Green High School and
Bowling Green State University. They travel extensively, having visited their seventh continent,
Antarctica, in December.They have two children, Major Chuck Hansen, O’Fallon, Ill., and Libby Riggs,
Bowling Green; and four grandsons, Ricky, Joshua, Chas and Ian.
