Sentinel closed Thurs. afternoonThe Sentinel-Tribune office will close Thursday at 1 p.m. to
allow employees an opportunity to attend the Celebration of Life service for Editor David C. Miller, who
died Saturday.The office will resume regular hours on Friday.Officers shooting blanks in townOhio
Tactical Officers Association will hold training at Wood County Fairgrounds today from noon to 4:30
today and all day Thursday.Members will be firing off blanks during those hours. Persons in the area
should expect to hear gunfire during the training and should not be alarmed.Township police start
traffic blitzLIME CITY – Perrysburg Township Police have announced their upcoming Click It or Ticket
Traffic Blitz.The blitz, running through June 2, will target U.S. 20, Ohio 25, Ohio 795, Ohio 65, and
Oregon Road. Township officers will be working additional hours looking for impaired drivers and
enforcing traffic laws and monitoring speed and seat belt violations throughout the township.The blitz
is funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Governor’s Highway Safety Office in
conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.Lubrizol manager is Kiwanis guestA
manager of Lubrizol Advanced Materials Inc. will speak to the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club at noon on
Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club about his company’s role as a good corporate citizen.Matt Paquette is
