Sarah Sager, Melissa Baker, William Brown and Caroline Battin were selected as
Students of the Month for February.
Sager, a senior from Weston, is the daughter of Tom and Cari Sager. She has a 3.5
GPA. She is involved in marching, concert and jazz bands, and book and media
club. Outside of school she is involved with the youth group at Weston Church of
Christ and is a junior faculty member at Lake James Christian Assembly. Sager
plans to attend Great Lakes Christian College with an undecided major.
Baker, a junior from Bowling Green, is the daughter of Chris and Renee Baker. She is
a captain on the basketball team, and involved with choir, National Honor
Society and Key Club. She has received academic excellence and athletic awards.
She is involved in mission work and went to the Dominican Republic in summer
2010 and plans to return again this summer. She plans to major in nursing at an
undecided college.
Brown, a sophomore, is the son of Bill Brown and Stacy Brown. He is a member of
marching and jazz bands. He has received outstanding musician and marching band
awards. He plans to attend Bowling Green State University and major in music or
the University of Toledo and major in pharmacy.
Battin, a freshman from Grand Rapids, is the daughter of Joan and Bob Battin. She is
a cheerleader for basketball and football, member of FFA, swing choir and track.
She is student council treasurer, a member of Beaver Creek Boosters 4H club and
Wood County 4H Leadership Board. She hopes to attend college in North Carolina
and become a nurse anesthetist.
