A Toledo man has been indicted a third time this year by a Wood County grand jury.

On April 18, the grand jury indicted Daniel C. Jones, 34, for engaging in a pattern
of corrupt activity, a first degree felony.
The most recent charge alleges Jones has operated a string of crimes in Wood, Lucas
and Ottawa counties using his checking account to receive payments from
MyFreeCams. These payments are alleged to have been received for recruiting both
adults and juveniles for nude modeling and sexual activity.
Jones would then issue checks from Jones Accounting Services to pay the
"models."
He is alleged to have received more than $1,000 from Oct. 1 through Dec. 22, 2011.
The indictment also indicates on Dec. 12 he attempted to recruit a 17-year-old
female for nude web cam modeling for profit; four additional similar incidents
are alleged between Nov. 13 and Dec. 12, involving separate female victims as
young as 14.
He is also alleged to have created a video of one victim shown in a state of nudity.

As listed in the indictment undercover police officers, located in Perrysburg were
posing as "Victim No. 1" when Jones attempted to solicit the victim to
perform. Based on previous contact, the defendant was believed soliciting a
minor.
An eighth incident in the "pattern" charges involved the attempt to delete
his Facebook account when he was aware an official proceeding or investigation
was in progress.
In two separate sessions in January he was indicted for attempted pandering of
sexually oriented material involving a minor, a third-degree offense, and later
for attempted tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony.
