Genoa picked to win NBC football title
GENOA – Genoa was the coaches pick to win the first Northern Buckeye Conference football championship.

The Comets received six first-place votes and 62 total points in the voting by NBC coaches Sunday night.
Genoa won the final four championships in the Suburban Lakes League.
Eastwood was second with 48 points, one ahead of third-place Otsego. Lake was fourth with 41, followed by
Woodmore 32, Fostoria 21, Rossford 19 and Elmwood 18. Woodmore received the other two first-place votes.
