Familiar face: Rosendo Rodriquez

Rosendo Rodriquez is a self-employed Perrysburg resident who has volunteered for the South of the Border
festival since 2006. He has handled nearly every aspect of the festival from setup and tear down to
organizing vendor spots to security, parking, sanitation and even being a runner to get food and drinks
for performing bands. In addition to volunteering at South of the Border, he has worked at other
festivals and Owens wrestling tournaments. He has been married to his wife Elisa Rodriguez for 33 years
and has two children and four grandchildren.
