ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Toledo and Lehigh Valley managed to play one nine inning game over the weekend.
Saturday’s game was suspended by rain in the bottom of the fourth inning.
That game was completed Sunday with Lehigh Valley pushing across a run in the bottom of the ninth for a
2-1 win.
Sunday’s scheduled game, a seven inning contest, was suspended by rain in the third inning and will be
completed today as part of a doubleheader.
Jeff Salazar’s double produced Toledo’s only run in the completed game. Timo Perez had two hits and four
different Mud Hens hit doubles.
Toledo’s Thad Weber, Brayan Villarreal, David Purcey and Enrique Gonzalez (4-4) combined to allow nine
