Battin (right, in black), and Clay Battin, The trio took first place in their heat of bed racing. The
village festival featured music, a chicken wings eating contest, parade, car show, sidewalk art contest,
pie baking contest, clog dancing, poker run, homemade wine and beer contest, kiddie tractor pull,
horseshoe and volleyball tournaments, and a community church service.
