Falcon volleyball earns academic award
Bowling Green’s volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award
for the 11th consecutive year.
The AVCA Team Academic Award was instituted in 1993 and honors teams with a 3.30 cumulative team grade
point average or better.
BG has two athletes with a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average and nine athletes carry a 3.30 gpa
or better.
Eastwood boys basketball team schedules golf outing
LUCKEY – The Eastwood boys basketball team is planning a golf scramble on Aug. 27 at Crosswinds Golf
Course in Perrysburg. The four-person scramble begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The cost is $200 per team, $50 per player, for the event which is a fundraiser for the Eagles’ boys. The
entry fee includes green and cart fees, lunch and a door prize.
