Tontogany Four Leaf Clovers
The Tontogany Four Leaf Clovers met Sunday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Haskins.
At this meeting, each member made a decorative name tag that will be placed in the club’s booth in the
Junior Fair Building during the fair.
After making a name tag, members turned in their judged 4-H projects and received their fair passes.
Also, important events at the Wood County Fair, such as the parade and livestock weigh-ins were
discussed. The forms that members need to turn in pertaining to selling market animals were reviewed, as
well. Tontogany Four Leaf Clover members then signed up to help create the club’s parade float, and to
help work in the 4-H Milkshake Barn during the fair.
Wood-N-Horses
The Wood-N-Horses 4-H group has held its meetings every Tuesday at the Wood County Fair Grounds. Members
have been practicing with their horses, getting ready for fair. Since a large portion of the club is
focused on horses, they had the 4-Hers who had other projects do a demonstration.
There were demos on cameras and feed for animals. Between the riding and the demonstrations, the members
have kept up on paper work and getting ready for fair. This week members will be working in the barn.
