Farmcrafters
Farmcrafters 4-H Club met June 13 at Elmwood Community Center. All livestock forms were turned in and
members had ideas for pictures. Also members should look over the newsletter for dates and times.
The next meeting is Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Elmwood Community Center, where there will be mock interviews
to prepare for judging. Also members should bring completed pictures for the booth and barns.
Duke’s Mixture
The Duke’s Mixture 4-H Club most recent meeting took place at Diana Bushmans house on June 20.
Members began talking and throwing around some ideas for the parade as the fair, which is quickly
approaching. The club was also able to start on some cool new ideas for the new 2011 Duke’s Mixtures
shirts. The ideas are final. The front of the shirt will say Duke’s Mixture and the shirt pockets will
be on the front but that is optional. The back will say when the club was established witch was 1925 and
the definition of the club, which is wise person who rules.
The next meeting will be at Webster Township Hall on July 10 at 8.
4-H-I-O
The 4-H-I-O Club met on June 12 at the Home Depot in Bowling Green.
Members made Father’s Day presents. They were a valet organizer or a battery organizer. There was a brief
meeting with 13 members and 12 Cloverbuds, 11 parents and 3 advisers.
Members talked about selling Kalahari tickets and passed out more to people who needed them.
The next meeting is June 26 at the church.
Country Guys and Gals
The Country Guys and Gals 4-H meeting was held June 12 at Mr. Freeze’s in Perrysburg after playing
miniature golf at Perry Falls.
Demonstrations were given on the benefits of coffee and how Powerade bottles are made.
The next meeting will be the farm tour on Sunday with a potluck supper afterwards.
