Rosella V. Flowers, 82, of Custar, died Sunday morning, April 17, 2011.
She was born September 20, 1928 in Hamler, to the late Cletus and Delphine (Burkart) Dulle. On March 31,
1948 she married Francis Flowers and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2004.
Rosella was a 1946 graduate of McClure High School.
She was a homemaker, supportive farm wife and loving mother and grandmother.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the church’s Altar & Rosary Society, Mother’s Club
and Festival Committee; Ohio Farm Bureau and Turkeyfoot Trotters Square Dancing Club.
She is survived by nine children: Ruth Ann (Robert) Sunderman, Norwalk; Mary Catherine (Steven)
Haslinger, Gibsonburg; Dorothy (Duane) Seitz, Bloomville; James (Susan) Flowers, Custar; Richard (Lisa)
Flowers, Deshler; Ronald (Rosemary) Flowers, Deshler; Daniel (Deborah) Flowers, McClure; David (Luann)
Flowers, McClure; Julie (Scott) Reigle, McComb; 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant sister and sisters, Marie Bauer and Rita Osenbaugh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar, with Fr.
David Tscherne officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with a Scripture Service at 7
p.m. Visitation will also be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
The family suggests memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church or School, or Arthritis Foundation.
