PEMBERVILLE – The club met March 7 at the Pemberville library, with 18 members present.
Member Jean Long showed slides of her trip to the artist Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. Judy Sayen
did a demonstration of a vertical design and an asymmetrical design flower arrangements.
Flower show chairman Trina Karns passed around the sign-up sheet for work duties during the Pemberville
Fair flower show. There was discussion of a new category for the flower show. It will be for a potted
patio or deck container with a maximum of 12 inch circumference. So far, two judges have committed to
the flower show. Karen O’Brien will type up the final copy of the flower show schedule. Bostdorff’s
Greenhouse has started the aster project flower and members will be able to pick them up around mid May.

A Spring Region 1 design workshop will be held in Delta on April 12 at Delta Church of Christ. Bonnie
Allen will be conducting the all-day workshop.
Hostesses for the evening were Eileen Schuerman and Judy Sayen.
The group will meet next month at Wolfe’s Greenhouse meeting room on April 4 at 7 p.m.
