Pastor’s photos on display
FOSTORIA – The Wesley United Methodist Church will showcase 19 photographs in the Wesley Memorial Gallery
by Rev. Michael N. Malcosky beginning today.
The exhibit, which runs through May 31, will feature the photographs taken by church youth groups by
Malcosky from mission trips taken in 2009 and 2010.
Each year there was one trip to Henderson Settlement in Kentucky, with an additional trip to New Orleans
in 2010.
The gallery, a member of the Fostoria Community Arts Council, is located at 1200 Van Buren St., Fostoria,
in the narthex of the church.
According to the release on this event, "Rev. Malcosky believes that mission work and photography go
hand in hand."
It is open to the public Monday through Friday and at other times by calling the church office at (419)
435-8551.
‘His Last Days’ tour comes to Bowling Green
The choral group of St. James, Kansas, Ohio, again this Lenten season is presenting its sacred musical
"His Last Days."
The musical is designed for the entire family and will be presented at 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s
Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Drive. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes. All performances are
open to the public with a freewill offering taken to cover expenses.
Upthegrove returns
Rev. C.S. Upthegrove will return to Wood County for a revival beginning Sunday. It will be held at Faith
Temple Family Worship Center, 175 State St., Bowling Green.
Times are 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. The revival continues Monday through Friday at 7 p.m., with
the final sessions at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on April 10.
The public is invited to attend.
Men’s breakfast set
Plain Congregational Church will hold a "Men’s Communion Breakfast" on April 10. Contact the
church for details.
Musteric installation
PEMBERVILLE – Pastor Matthew Musteric will be installed as senior pastor at Bethlehem Evangelical
Lutheran Church on Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. worship. The installation will be performed by Pastor
Dennis Maurer, assistant to the bishop of the Northwestern Ohio Synod.
A celebration potluck will follow, and the public is invited to attend the service.
Movie to be shown
"The Chronicles of Narnia" will be shown in the "Movie Cave" on April 10 at First
Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green. The time is 6 p.m. The church will provide popcorn to share but
reservations are requested to the church office (419) 352-5176, by next Friday.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, sponsored by First United Methodist of Perrysburg,
invite all seniors in the area to attend its next meeting to be held April 12 at Abundant Life No. 2,
200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a
$3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Rev. David Good of First Presbyterian Church. Lunch is served
at noon, provided by Accessible Home Health Care.
The program which follows will be "Home Safety" by Greg Bexler.

made by next Friday.
German Lutheran heritage
ARCHBOLD – On April 10 at 2 p.m., the German Lutheran Heritage group will meet again at the Lutheran
Social Services complex south of Archbold, for the spring meeting and program.
The presentation will be given by John Swearingen, Jr. of Wauseon. His topic will be the Civil War. He
serves as director of the Fulton County Historical Society.
Many German ancestors were coming to America during this time. Some fought in the war. German goodies
will be served. The public is invited.
