Dr. Judi Nath, professor of biology and health sciences at Lourdes College, is co-author of Fundamentals
of Anatomy & Physiology-9th Edition, alongside Frederic ("Ric") H. Martini. Nath
received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bowling Green State University and her Ph.D. from the
University of Toledo.
Owens Community College students were honored in the fall for earning membership into Alpha Omega Pi
chapter of Phi Theta Kappa international honor society. Among the criteria for inclusion was a 3.5 grade
point average. Wood County students earning membership included Maria Baboun, Elizabeth Celley, Caren
Cole, Susan Colon, Marisol Halligan and Matthew Johnson, all of Perrysburg; Jennifer Baker and Jacob
Green, of Bowling Green; Chad Born and Amanda Chernota, both of Walbridge; Heather Haws of Bradner; and
Albin Bauer III, Megan Childers, Myron Draime and Renee Hires of Northwood.
Hallie Frobose, Pemberville, was named on the fall honor roll at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
She earned at least a 3.50 gpa.
Annie Stewart, a senior mathematics major, has been named to the dean’s list with high distinction at
Grove City (Pa.) College for the fall semester. She is a 2007 graduate of Rossford High School. She
earned at least a 3.85 gpa for the term.
Katie Wineland, Bowling Green, will compete in Bluffton Univer-sity’s annual C. Henry Smith Peace
Oratorical Contest on April 6. Her topic is "Criminal Injustice: Collateral Consequences and the
Gospel of Reconciliation." She is a junior at Bluffton.
Kelsey Smith, Bowling Green, is among students named to the fall term dean’s list at Ohio State
University. She earned a 3.9 gpa for the term.
