Perrysburg cop hurt on duty
PERRYSBURG – A Perrysburg police officer was taken to a Maumee hospital Thursday after being injured
while on duty at the street division building on Roachton Road.
According to a police report, at approximately 10 a.m. Officer James Williams reported that, while trying
to shut a stuck door, he caught a finger, causing a large cut and tearing off most of the fingernail,
and possibly breaking the finger.
The wound was bandaged and, after refusing the response of medics, Williams was transported to St. Luke’s
Hospital by another officer for treatment.
Pemberville talks about money
PEMBERVILLE – A council meeting to discuss appropriations will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The next regular council meeting is Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
More Ridge St. work planned
Ridge Street between North Main and North Prospect streets, will be closed to through traffic Monday and
Tuesday.
Work will also continue on North Main Street during the week. This work will result in lane closures and
parking restrictions. This work is being done by Columbia Gas contractors to upgrade and improve service
delivery.
Teachers talk to Exchange Club
Teachers Rebecca Pisula and Jennifer Irvin from the Wood County Educational Service Center’s Alternative
Learning Center will present a power point presentation to the Bowling Green Exchange Club on Tuesday.

The alternative learning center provides a comprehensive learning environment for students who are
experiencing challenges in a regular school setting.
The meeting is at noon at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
