Lake, Perrysburg girls earn No. 1 sectional seeds

Fourth-ranked Lake and Perrysburg earned No. 1 seeds for their respective girls sectional high school
basketball tournaments that begin Feb. 22.
Lake, 16-0 overall, was the top seed in Division III at Toledo Bowsher. Perrysburg (13-2) received the
top seed in Division I at Otsego.
The only other Wood County team to earn a seed was Otsego (6-12), which was the No. 2 seed at Bowling
Green High School.
Following is a sectional information for the county schools:
DIVISION I
At Otsego
Perrysburg received a first-round bye and will play Bowling Green (9-6) or Lima Senior in a sectional
final Feb. 26 at 6:15 p.m.
The BG-Lima Senior game is Feb. 23 at 6:15 p.m.
Anthony Wayne was the No. 2 seed.
The sectional champions will remain at Otsego and meet in a district semifinal March 3. The district
final is March 5 at Liberty-Benton.
DIVISION III
At Toledo Bowsher
Lake (16-0) received a first-round bye and will play Rossford (7-8) or Northwood (6-10) in a sectional
final Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.
The Rossford-Northwood game is Feb. 22 at 6:15 p.m.
Ottawa Hills (15-0) was the No. 2 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the Anthony Wayne district, the semifinals on March 3 and the final on
March 5.
At BGHS
Otsego received a first-round bye and will play Lakota (4-10) or Elmwood (3-12) in a sectional final Feb.
26 at 8 p.m.
The Lakota-Elmwood game is Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.
Eastwood (1-15) plays Fostoria (3-13) in a first-round game Feb. 22 at 6:15 p.m. The winner faces
top-seeded Liberty-Benton in a sectional final Feb. 26 at 6:15 p.m.
The sectional champions also advance to the Anthony Wayne district.
DIVISION IV
At Findlay High School
NB and McComb, both 11-6, meet in a first-round game Feb. 22 at 8 p.m.
The winner faces second-seeded Arcadia (16-2) in a sectional final Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.
Arlington (16-0) was the No. 1 seed.
The sectional champions advance to the Liberty-Benton district, the semifinals on March 3, and the final
on March 5 at 7 p.m.
