Prep Roundup – Bobcat hockey swept at Pennsylvania tournament (01-17-11)

Bowling Green lost its final two games Saturday in the Bethel Park (Pa.) high school hockey tournament.

The Bobcats were 4-2 losers to North Allegheny in the afternoon following a 6-5 loss to Olentangy in the
morning.
BG was 0-3 in the tournament and is 7-12-2 overall.
In the loss to North Allegheny, the Tigers took a 3-0 lead in the first 18 minutes.
Dylan Graves had one goal and one assist for BG, while Mason Mayberry scored the other goal and Nick
Morris made 45 saves.
BG was out-shot, 49-25.
Against Olentangy, the Braves broke a 5-5 tie on Tyler Sangster’s third goal of the game with 7:07
remaining.
Drew Nienow had one goal and one assist for BG, and Jacob Paluch, Jake DeWitt, Dakota Bell and Reid
Mankowski scored the other goals.
The Bobcats were out-shot by a 34-33 margin. BG’s Nate Gay made 28 saves.
