Holiday affects
BG refuse pickup
Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday today, there will be no curbside pickup of trash or
recyclables.
Regular Monday collection will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday’s regular run will be on Wednesday, and so
forth, with Thursday’s collection being on Friday.

Wayne distributes government food
WAYNE – The Wayne Food Pantry will be distributing food Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the fire hall.
The giveaway is for residents in the 43466 zip code who meet eligibility requirements.
Perrysburg Twp. plans traffic blitz
LIME CITY – The Perrysburg Township Police Department will begin a traffic enforcement blitz today, and
continue it through Saturday.
Lt. Jim Pelleck has announced that officers will be targeting Ohio 20, Ohio 25, Ohio 795, Ohio 65, Ohio
199 and Oregon Road. Township officers will be working additional hours looking for impaired drivers,
enforcing traffic laws, and monitoring speed and seat belt violations throughout the township.
The department has received grant funding to conduct selective traffic enforcement within the township.
The grand period runs through September of this year.
