Quilters guild to hear expert
TOLEDO – The Gathering of Quilters Guild will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 3250
Holland-Sylvania Road.
Penny Haren of Newark, Ohio will present a program titled "Fudge Factor." As an author, teacher
and quilt shop owner she has developed quick, easy and fun techniques for quilters. A fat quarter raffle
and show and tell of quilts made by Gathering members will follow.

Singles to meet
TOLEDO – Glass City Singles will meet Friday for a dance party for area adult singles at Gladieux
Meadows.
Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and admission is $7. Dances are held each Friday.
