A local woman was taken to the hospital Friday after she lost control of her vehicle and struck a house
southeast of Bowling Green.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that a vehicle driven by Carrie Miller, 34, Kramer Road, was
traveling north in the 13000 block of Huffman Road at about 9 a.m. when her vehicle slid off the road to
the east. She over-corrected and crossed the center line, then the vehicle then went off the road to the
west, veered to the east and over-corrected again to the west.
The vehicle came to a rest after striking a house at 13236 Huffman Road.
Miller was cited for reasonable control and transported to Wood County Hospital with non-incapacitating
injuries.
