The Bowling Green Evening Lions Club?s ?Flags For Sight? fundraiser on Saturday and Sunday at Kroger was
a resounding success, according to Lion President Sandra Metzger. She said the project raised almost
$400 as small American flags were distributed as a thank you for donations.
All proceeds from this drive will aid the eye care needs of local families that otherwise cannot afford
basic eye exams and glasses. The BG chapter also collected 33 used eye glasses from the public for
recycling by VOSH.
The Bowling Green Evening Lions Club wants to express its thanks to the community for their support of
this project.
