ROSSFORD – Dolores J. (Taper) Grod, 79, of Rossford, died Sunday (June 28, 2009) at St. Vincent Mercy
Medical Center, Toledo.
Mrs. Grod was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church, Rossford, where she was in the choir.
She also was a member of Rossford VFW Auxiliary, where she was past president.
Born March 11, 1930 in Rossford to Joseph and Helen (Mazur) Taper, she is survived by her husband of 60
years, George Grod.
Also surviving are two sons, David and Stephen; three daughters, Marilyn Wagoner, Judith Fedio and
Patricia Rosso; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Southward and Marjorie Leganik.
The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, followed by a
funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at the church. Rev. George Mullenkal will officiate. Burial will follow at Ft.
Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., and will include a Parastas service at 7 p.m.
