Looking for Leprechauns Family Scavenger Hunt returns to Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve on Friday and runs through March 19.

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is introducing new Parent’s Night Out programming in February and March.

Children and adults enjoy the new RallyCap Sports Inclusive Playground at Carter Park Tuesday evening. Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening the new playground located at 401 Campbell Hill Road. It features a larger-than-life wheelchair-accessible log in the center of the play space. A 5-foot-high artificial turf hillside and accompanying slides create challenges and fun. This playground also features a wheelchair swing, which is designed for easy access. For thrill-seekers, there is a 7-foot-high climbing course. Over 150 volunteers donated their time to building the playground. The Bowling Green City Pool and Waterpark Complex saw a rise in revenues this year – as well as an increase in expenses.
