Meet the BG parks director with Exchange Club

The Exchange Club of Bowling Green will be meeting at City Park on Tuesday at noon to hear Kristin Otley speak about the changes happening in City Park. Those interested in this topic are welcome to join us – pack a lunch and come out to City Park Martin Shelter.

Kristin Otley has served as the City of Bowling Green’s Parks & Recreation Director for the past eight years and has been with the city for 26 years total; previously serving as the Recreation Coordinator. She came to BG from the City of Mason. She holds a BS from Michigan State University in Park & Recreation Resources with an emphasis in Commercial Recreation and an MS from Indiana University in Parks & Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Recreational Sports Administration. She is currently serving as the President of the Ohio Parks & Recreation Association. She lives in BG with her husband and two daughters.

The Exchange Club is a group of community-focused individuals that meets weekly to “exchange” ideas, listen to interesting speakers, network, and socialize. Normally, the club members meet at the Bowling Green Country Club on Tuesdays at noon. Meetings are open to the public – no reservation necessary.
