The lecture will be held on March 28 at 4 p.m. in Room 207 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union at BGSU. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Green’s lecture is entitled “The History of Women in Law Enforcement: Toledo Police Department.”

The talk will provide a general history which tracks the trajectory of women’s role in American policing (from policewomen to female patrol officers), with a local history focus on the Toledo Police Department, where Green formerly served as a lieutenant on the police force.
