Bradner man pleads guilty to sex crimes

A Bradner man accused of rape has pleaded guilty to lesser charges.

A trial for Michael Stultz II, 34, was scheduled to start May 7 when he entered pleas of guilty to gross sexual imposition as indicted and three amended counts of sexual battery, all third-degree felonies.

The maximum prison sentence for each count is 60 months.

He will have to register as a Tier III sex offender, which will require him to register every 90 days for life.

Sentencing will be June 24.

Stultz was indicted in January 2023 for gross sexual imposition and three counts rape.

From March 22, 2020, to Oct. 3, 2022, Stultz had sexual contact with children whose age ranged from 10-14 during that time.
