BG woman cited after crashing into downtown flower pot

A Bowling Green woman was cited for leaving the scene after she struck a concrete flower pot on a downtown sidewalk.

On Tuesday around 9:02 p.m., Bowling Green police responded to a crash in the 300 block of North Main Street.

Robin Clark was traveling southbound in a 2001 Buick LeSabre and drove off the roadway, striking a concrete flower pot that was situated on the sidewalk on the west side of the road, according to the crash report.

She then left the scene but was idenified by downtown cameras.

Clark was cited for stopping after the accident and leaving the scene of the crash.
