BG resident arrested for domestic violence

On Saturday around 4:18 a.m., Bowling Green police responded to Sixth Street for a domestic violence report.

Jordain Powell, 30, Bowling Green, was arreste for domestic violence and was taken to jail.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, when officers arrived, they could hear Powell yelling from the front step of the apartment complex.

When police spoke with the resident, they told police that Powell woke them up and began arguing with them. Tired of the situation, the resident told Powell they were leaving before Powell swung at them with closed fists, according to the report.
