On Saturday, Bowling Green police were dispatched to the Holiday Inn Express for a report of domestic violence.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, when officers arrived, they observed a watch, eye glass case, and other items in the parking lot in front of the room door. Officers went inside and observed a male with cuts to his face, abrasions on his right arm, cuts on his hands and cuts/blood on the clothes.

Mitchell Loome, 27, Bowling Green, was arrested for domestic violence and disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self and was taken to jail.

The male told police that he and Mitchell were on the way home from a hockey game. Mitchell drove home and was driving 100 mph. When the male told Mitchell to slow down, Mitchell jumped him in the hotel parking lot, according to the report.

Mitchell was found walking in the roundabout at the I-75 overpass, highly intoxicated, according to the report.

The reporting party did not see the fight but went outside and observed Mitchell yelling at the male, who told them to get Mitchell away from them, according to the report.

While at the hotel, officers were told Shannon Loome was found unconscious in the hallway and was let into her hotel room by hotel staff due to being unable to operate her keycard.

Shannon refused to cooperate with EMS personnel when requested to be transported to the hospital for evaluation. Police made several attempts to explain the situation to Loome and transported her to jail with no further incident, according to the report.

Loome, 47, Kirkland, Illinois, was arrested for disorderly conduct/intoxicated-unable to care for self.
