BG man cited after driving into an apartment building

Bowling Green police responded to a non-injury crash at the 800 block of Fifth Street around 11:27 p.m. on Sunday.

Fredandy Anim, 29, of Bowling Green, was cited for failure to control the vehicle and temporary permit violation.

When police arrived at the scene, they contacted Anim, owner of the vehicle at-fault. Anim stated that he was attempting to hit the brakes but instead hit the accelorator, causing his vehicle to jolt forward and crash into the apartment complex.

The vehicle ran into the living room of Apt. 1.

BGPD observed noticeable damage to the vehicle next to the unit at fault. The damage appeared to be from events after the accident.
