The Bowling Green Civil Service Commission will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday. The purpose of the meeting is to review, modify, add and/or recommend changes to Civil Service Rules and take all actions necessary to establish eligibility and certified lists, Action will also be taken, as necessary, to modify, add, accept, or abolish job descriptions, and to establish classified positions and/or schedule and/or establish the requirements for or types of hiring or promotional examinations.
The Transit Advisory Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to review marketing, fiscal and operating reports for the fourth quarter CY 2023, and other transit operating and grant topics.
Immediately following the Transit Advisory Committee meeting, the Vehicle Accident Prevention Sub-Committee meeting will be held.
Both meetings will be held in council chambers, City Administrative Services Building, 305 N. Main St.
BG school board meets Tuesday
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Performing Arts Center, 540 W. Poe Road.
