Griggs, Thames lead Jackets past Northview

SYLVANIA — Perrysburg girls basketball rebounded from Tuesday’s Northern Lakes League loss to Toledo Whitmer Tuesday, defeating Northview on the road, 46-37, Friday.

Hayley Griggs and Kallie Thames scored 11 points apiece to lead the Yellow Jackets and Hayden Siebenaller scored eight points.

Ayla Turk scored six points, and Chloe Kilbride and Addy Byrne scored five points apiece to help Perrysburg’s cause.

For Northview, Grace Krahl scored a game-high 13 points, Ally Biggs, Jenna Clausius and Sara Cannon scored seven points apiece, and Allison Shadle added five points.

The Wildcats fall to 4-2 overall, but it was their NLL opener. Perrysburg improves to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the NLL Buckeye Division.
