Custar Legion serves breakfast
CUSTAR — Custar American Legion Post 305, 9155 Custar Road, will host a breakfast Sunday from 8 a.m.-noon.
The meal is sponsored by the Sons of the American Legion.
A donation will be accepted for the breakfast, which will include pancakes, french toast, eggs and sausage.
Eberly Road closed next week
Eberly Road will be closed in both directions between West Wooster Street and Hankey Avenue from Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to to 3:30 p.m. for two lateral sewer repairs.
Dates of this closure are subject to change and are dependent on weather and the progress of work.
Finance committee discusses bid ordinance
The finance committee of Bowling Green City Council will meet on Monday at 6 p.m. in the council chamber located in the City Administrative Services Building, 305 N. Main St. Council will discuss the following proposed legislation:
• Ordinance #9131 amending Chapter 35 “Finances” of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Bowling Green, Ohio to enact and adopt a new section refining the process for determination of the lowest and best bid on public improvement projects subject to Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.) section 4115
This is a work session with no public comment available.
City council will meet at 7 p.m.
Historic Preservation Commission moves meeting
The City of Bowling Green Historic Preservation Commission has moved its next meeting to Dec. 19.
The commission will meet at 4 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 1st floor council chamber, 305 N. Main St.

Correction
Amount raised for Pemberville mural
A story that appeared in Wednesday’s newspaper gave an incorrect amount raised for the Pemberville mural.
Roberta Reiter has raised $18,000 and plans to conduct another round of fundraising in February/March with the hope of receiving the additional $17,000 needed to complete the project.
