Larry was a 1957 graduate of Risingsun High School, and then served his Country proudly in the United States Air Force, where he was very passionate about his traveling adventures and flying B52 Bombers. Among many hobbies over the years, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, collecting train sets, watching western movies, flying stunt planes with his brother, had a knack for landscaping, and had a love for animals. Larry also had HAMM Radio Certification and enjoyed singing Gospel music on the radio with his family. He will always be remembered for his ornery sense of humor, always telling stories, and his humble, giving, compassionate and kind soul. Larry made it a point to teach his family that “strength doesn’t mean loud,” and he would always leave with saying “I love you and I love all of you.” A few of his fondest memories include taking his grandchildren to McDonalds while making them late for school, driving around the lake, and camping, sitting on the porch and around campfires with his family.
