Wood County Health Department is working with the Wood County Committee on Aging to offer flu vaccines for seniors at Senior Centers across the county throughout October. Participants will need to bring their insurance card and sign a consent form prior to receiving the flu shot.
Clinics will be held at the following locations:
• Rossford Senior Center: Tuesday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Pemberville Senior Center: Wednesday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Walbridge Senior Center: Oct. 9, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Grand Rapids Senior Center: Oct. 10, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Perrysburg Senior Center: Oct. 12, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Wayne Senior Center: Oct. 17, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Wood County Senior Center in Bowling Green: Oct. 24, 1 – 4 p.m.
A flu shot is recommended annually for everyone ages six months and older. Flu shots are available for the general population at most local pharmacies.
