Warrants have been issued for two Toledo women for their allegedly involvement in a weekend burglary.

On Saturday at 2:52 a.m., Bowling Green police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue for a burglary report.

The alleged victim said she was hanging out with two men when Tiffany Welch, who is the mother of one of the men’s children, and a friend forced the apartment door open, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

The friend, who was later identified as Courtney Miller, was taping the incident.

The alleged victim said this was not the first time Welch had forced her way into the apartment; she didn’t report the other incident, according to the report.

She said Welch grabbed her by the hair and punched her. She was bleeding at her ear but declined medical attention, according to the report.

Warrants were issued for Welch, 30, and Miller, 31, for felony burglary.

Welch was arrested later Saturday by Toledo police on the warrant and lodged in the Wood County jail.
