BG police investigate alleged assault at City Pool

Bowling Green police responded to an alleged sexual offense over the weekend.

Officers were called Saturday around 7 p.m. to City Park for an alleged sexual offense. A girl told the officer that a man had touched her inappropriately and had followed her around the pool, according to the Bowling Green Police Division report.

Shortly after, a suspect was located and asked if he had had any physical contact with the juvenile female. He said he had not and that he was just swimming in the pool with his family.

Officers stood by while the man and his family left the pool property.

A pool employee was asked to review the footage of the pool area to see if they can see the alleged incident take place.
