Three teens were reportedly found on a roof with alcohol and were charged with criminal trespass.

On Monday around midnight, Bowling Green police were called to the 100 block of South Main Street on the report there were people trespassing on an apartment roof.

According to the Bowling Green Police Division report, there have been numerous complaints about people trespassing on these businesses’ roofs.

Upon officers arrival, three males were spotted on the roof at 178 S. Main St. They were identified as being 15 years old, 16 years old and 18 years old.

An open can of Seagram’s Jamaican Me Happy was sitting on the ground, as were two backpacks, and a faint odor of marijuana was detected, according to the report.

The 16-year-old said he had an airsoft gun in his bag and the 18-year-old, identified as Domingo Allen, said he had a Four Loko in his.

The 15-year-old said he had nothing but when asked to stand for a pat down for weapons, he refused and said he would not consent to a search without his mother’s permission.

An officer grabbed each arm, and the teen began tensing up, according to the report. When officers tried to get him to his feet, he dropped his body weight and fell. An attempt to roll him onto his stomach so he couldn’t kick was unsuccessful.

Officers were able to get him to his knees, and although he refused to put his hands behind his back, officers eventually were able to place him in handcuffs, according to the report.

A search of the teen located a breeze vape in his pocket with a THC cartridge on a vape pen.

He was transported to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with criminal trespass, obstructing official business and possession of hashish.

Two vape devices with THC cartridges were found in the 16-year-old’s possession as well as a very realistic black Glock 17-styles air pistol with flashlight, according to the report. He was taken to the station, where he was picked up by his mom. Charges, including criminal trespass and possession of hashish, will be sent to the Wood County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

Allen was cited for underage possession of alcohol, open container and criminal trespass and was dropped off at home.
