The family of Tracy Lynn Trumbull is saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the too-young age of 59 years old, after an 18-month battle with lung cancer.

Tracy was born October 5, 1963 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Howard E. and Sharon L. (Long) Trumbull. She most recently resided in Summerdale, Alabama, and spent her final days at The Retreat, Hospice by Saad, in Mobile.

Tracy loved playing Euchre, attending any event that her children and/or grandchildren were participating in, sitting in the sunshine on warm spring days, walking through the fallen leaves when the days turned cooler, spending time with her family, and following the path of God.

Tracy was an honest and hard-working woman, and one who stood strong in her faith through the challenges in her life. She was compassionate, fun-loving, generous, sincere, loyal, supportive, and beautiful on the inside and out. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many who were blessed by her amazing spirit.

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, and her youngest daughter, Brianna Baxter.

She is survived by sons: Russell Trumbull (Angie) of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Cody (Brittany) Pelton of North Baltimore, Ohio; daughters: Sarah (Mike) Wheeler of Summerdale, Alabama, and Jamie (Victor) Ordonez of Port Charlotte, Florida; grandchildren: Giselle, Jeremiah, Brooklynn, Gracelynn, Nataly, Nathan, Wyatt, Lucas, Avalynn, Zaidyn, and Zander.

She is also survived by sisters: Deb (Paul) Perry, Sue Short, and Lori West, all of Bowling Green; brothers: Mike Trumbull of Bowling Green, and John (Kathy) Trumbull, of Weston; as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

Per Tracy’s wishes, her earthly body was cremated, and there was a family Celebration of Life held on Sunday, June 4, at the home of special family friends, Kory and Evan Widmer, Wayne, Ohio. She wanted no sadness for those left behind, only happiness and the closeness of family.

Tracy will be greatly missed and sweetly remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Until we meet again….
