‘The Fish Fall in Love’ screened at Way Public Library


PERRYSBURG — Way Public Library’s Reel Art International and Art Film Series continues on May 19 at 7 p.m., with a showing of the Persian/Iranian film “The Fish Fall in Love.”

In this film, Aziz decides to return to his hometown after 22 years to sell some family possessions, including the family home. But the house is now a small restaurant run by four women, including a woman named Attieh whom he once dated. She tries to convince him not to sell by cooking him a delicious dish every day.

This film is not rated with a run time of 1 hour and 36 minutes. The event will be in Way Library’s lower-level meeting rooms. Admission to this event is free thanks to sponsor Skotynsky Financial Group, LLC. Refreshments will be served.
