Mary Ann Woolley (Cocanour), 84 of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center peacefully surrounded by family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 19, 1938, to Clair and Lenore (Hoffman) Cocanour.

When she was one, her family moved to Newark, Ohio where she then graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School. Mary Ann then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where received her degree in Histology and was board certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Upon graduation, she returned to Toledo, Ohio, and worked at Toledo Hospital’s Institute of Medical Research doing research in cancer and leukemia.

In 1965, she married John David Woolley. They had five children and resided in Perrysburg, Ohio. In 1982, she obtained her Real Estate license along with her Brokers license. She then moved forward and became a graduate of the Realtors Institution and was a member of the National Association of Realtors, a member of the Toledo Board of Realtors, a life member of the Presidents Sales Club, and a member of the Re/Max Executive Club. She was a past board member of the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce.

Along with being a member of St. Rose Helping Hands and a volunteer at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for 16 years, she was the first woman EMT in the Perrysburg city and township fire department for over 20 years.

Mary Ann is survived by her son Jeffrey (Meghan) Woolley; daughters Cheryl (David) Garcia, Sue (Sean) Digman, and Deborah Labadie; grandchildren Justin Modene, Megan Modene, Mary Judith Modene, Jennifer (Ashton) Baalaer, Ava Woolley, Maryn Woolley, Austin Garcia, Emily (Cody) Allen, Emma Digman, Reid Digman, Christopher Jr. Labadie, and Annie Labadie; and great-grandchildren Adelynn Baalaer and Ryder Allen. She was preceded in death by her parents Clair and Lenore Cocanour; brother Robert Cocanour; daughter Nancy Modene; and husband John David Woolley.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg).
